This is a new book by Terri Degenkolb, of Whimsicals. I would have to agree with her that some quilts do talk to us. And many days Quilting is just good therapy. If you haven't gotten this book yet, I suggest you call and get it soon. It is a delight, she is a wonderful author . Call us at 701 252 5691. If I don't get back to you before Christmas week , we will be closed on Christmas Eve and of course Christmas Day. We are open Mon thru Sat., and Thur. evenings til 8pm.

It is in the new Star savvy book, It is the 2nd quilt we have done out of the latest book. Such a pretty block.
We have seen alot of border fabrics cut the short way this season. It looks great. This quilt will come back from Darcie our Long arm quilter. Can't wait to see what she does, she always does a nice finish to our piecing. She also has a great blog, Quilting by Darcie.blogspot.com.

Do the Twist!!! We have had so much fun these past couple months with the Twister and little Twister rulers. You take 5" squares or 10"" squares and you can even twist it into a great tree skirt, made by Deb K. She has also made some table toppers, it is wonderful for the Layered Cakes or the 5inch Charm Packs. I have had a request for a kit so we will be working on this. Susan D has also made a baby quilt from bright flannels that is so cute.
Smores This is a fat quarter friendly twin size quilt, and the only way to get the pattern is with the kit
since it was designed by COH. Quilted by Darcie, make sure you go to her blog ,you will want to put her in your favorites. She is a wonderful inspiration to the Quilt world and she gets you all excited for S'more. Enjoy this Quilt it is darling in person.

Comforts of Home
When we build a quilt we use fabric. When we build an addition we use materials. You can find both this summer at Comforts of Home Quilting. You see we have decided to add a class room to our small little shop and another space that can be rented out to another business. Well guess what , we have it rented out to Greenwood Plumbing and Heating. Imagine that, that would be my husband. You can see the concrete guy putting in brick for the foundation. Just like cutting the pieces to a quilt. And you thought quilting was messy, Do I have news for you---and we just got started. Come see us.
