Have you ever tried one of these.? It's great fun and fast. Sew straight rows, cut top and resew into "ON POINT" setting. no diagonal rows , no setting triangles. This fabric is from clothworks and is such a nice flannel. Mary of course made up some kits already. Call us.

Sew Comfort Collection
Charming Stars
Susan took the NEW Kansas Trouble charm packs and had enough fabric to make four scrappy stars and she still had some 5" charms left and so we got our pattern creating minds together and added afew pieces and came up with this darling 36" wall hanging/topper. Can can't see the beautiful quilting that Darcie did. Better stop by and check it out.
BRRRRRR Winter 2007 1/6/06
This is a great winter shot looking out the front door of COH to the valley of Jamestown. It was beautiful. What a great morning to have a cup of coffee and think of those great quilts that we could sew or better yet curl up with your favorite one and enjoy and be thankful for what we have. 2006 has zoomed by and we are getting some great projects ready for all of you. Please come see us.

New Years Greetings
New Years Greetings!!
WOW!! Is it time to make New Year resolutions already? Let’s all resolve to continue to explore our passion for quilting in 2007. We are preparing classes, studios and get aways that will give you the chance to do just that! Take some time out of your busy schedule and come see what Comforts of Home has for you.
Let me take this opportunity to thank you for your patronage and support, without my family, staff and fellow quilters! You make my passion for quilting grows each day, I couldn’t do without it.
As part of my New Year resolution to you, we will strive to keep our comforts of home blog up to date.
Looking ahead we plan to raffle off the Thimbleberries Club Quilt made during 2006, thanks to Norma for working on getting the permit for us. All proceeds from this Vintage Stitches Quilt will go to the Relay for Life walk in June 2007. Mary has been working on making kits for just about everything she can get her hands on, stop in and see what’s new. Our samples are always changing.
Start off your quilting new year with a new sewing machine. Stop in for a demo on the Janome sewing machines, we usually have four models available.
